We collect your personal data exclusively from you when you place an online order, request a reservation, register for the newsletter, or by collecting it based on your use of our website.

The data processing for this purpose is based on our legitimate interest in improving and securing the performance of our website in order to make our website as attractive as possible for you. Moreover, we have a legitimate interest to enforce legal claims that could arise in connection with our website and to defend ourselves against any such legal claims (Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit f GDPR).
° Data processing for purposes 1b) and 1c):
The data processing for this purpose is necessary in order to fulfill our contract with you or carry out the pre-contractual reservation measures initiated by you (Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit b GDPR).
° Data processing for purpose 1d):
The data processing for this purpose is based on our legitimate interest in informing you about our products and promotions (Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit f GDPR). You can cancel these mailings at any time (see below).
° Data processing for purpose 1f):
The data processing for this purpose is necessary so that we can fulfill our legal obligations, specifically the legal recording, information, and reporting obligations (Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit c GDPR).
We use IT service providers as processors to ensure the security, accessibility and efficiency of our website and work environment. Your personal data may also be available to them for the purposes mentioned above (1a-1f).
We also use marketing service providers to achieve the above-mentioned purpose 1d), to whom your contact details may be made available.
Furthermore, we use logistics, IT and delivery service providers to process the respective order (purpose 1b), to whom your personal data will be forwarded.

However, if you do not provide the data, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website, you may not be able to order via our webshop or we may not be able to process this order and your reservation request.
The following data must be provided in the reservation form: title, first name, surname, email address, telephone number, date and time of the desired reservation and the number of people. Providing all other data is voluntary and is not necessary for processing your reservation request.
When registering for the newsletter, the following data must be provided: title, first name, last name, email address. Providing all other data is voluntary and is not necessary for processing your newsletter registration.
The following personal data must be provided for online orders: email address, shipping address (first name, last name, address, email address, telephone number), billing address (first name, last name, address, email address, telephone number) and payment information. Providing all other data is voluntary and is not necessary for processing your order.

Duplication of texts and data including storage and use of optical and electronic data carriers is only possible within the contractually agreed framework or with the prior consent of the restaurant Scala. If you make a reservation, order from us, or subscribe to our newsletter, we will inform you about our products and offers regularly by email or post. You have the option of unsubscribing from the newsletter at any time. You will find the exact information on this in the newsletter itself. However, you can also use the contact address given above to refuse any further sending.
We use the cookies placed on your device to determine statistical data for improving the performance of our website, identifying problem areas, and thus offering you the best possible customer experience.
